The first episode is dedicated to Watership Down by Richard Adams. In this episode we learn Lapine and drink the cocktail “Watership Down” as we discuss the concept of rabbit fascism. If you’d like to drink along, we’ve included the ingredients below.
A Water Ship Down:
- Carrot Juice
- Simple Syrup
- St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- Maraschino Cherries and syrup
- Gin (preferably Seersucker)
Mix to your levels of drunkenness. Remember that the maraschino syrup and cherries are more for color and to represent rabbit death, so use sparingly and at the risk of reliving the childhood trauma of this novel.
